Spark Tray is a Windows utility that groups five media tools under a single system-tray icon. It includes a video downloader (supporting YouTube, Vimeo, and other sites, with options for quality, subtitles, and playlists), an audio extractor that copies audio losslessly or converts to MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, or Opus, a bulk downloader that queues links from a CSV or list, a background remover that outputs transparent PNGs, and a transcriber that produces timestamped SRT, VTT, TXT, or JSON files. All processing runs locally on the user's machine, with no account required and no data sent to the cloud. The application is free, installs without administrator rights, and runs on Windows 10 and 11. It is funded through a bandwidth-sharing arrangement, disclosed at install, in which the app uses a portion of idle network bandwidth via a third-party partner.
