Intertakt is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata and rounds that runs on the oldest pacing technology there is: the called count. Every army discovered it independently — a squad on the move paces itself to the voice, never to watch-checks — and mid-set is the same position: no spare eyes, no spare hands.

A clear voice announces each interval and the halfway mark; countdown beeps sit over your playlist with independent volumes. Your music owns the speakers; the timer only borrows them. Start the session, put the phone face-down, and it runs with the screen dark until the last interval is called. A mid-round call changes nothing: the session resumes from the exact second it stopped.
